A Confession of an Addict

I confess. I am an addict. Oops! Don’t be too harsh. Let me finish my confession first. I am addicted to reading books authored by one of today’s bests, Paulo Coelho.

The last book I read is The Witch of Portobello, which indeed is another book that catered magic, love, life, and self discovery. I was for nth time impressed with his work. Imagine how infectious his works are. It really has an impact to his readers.

I was on my third year in college when I first encountered this magnificent author. I actually encountered his works while I was going through some term papers that I was tasked to compile.

One of those papers had the works of Coelho as his main subject. I don’t know why but I just found myself reading the whole thing. The next thing I know, I am already hooked with this author’s works.

He has absolutely influenced me in my writing skills. I learned a lot of things that are essential to life. I realized how wonderful life could be no matter how hard some times may be. He is such a great writer indeed. Oh! By the way, I’m down to his last two books.
