Direct Debit Mandates Online
Hey all, not sure how technical this board gets, but has anyone set up an on-line registration for a direct debit mandate before? Can you recommend any providers that do this? I've found a couple and am doing a more in-depth search on features, but just in case someone has already done it... ;)

A few of the major providers will offer this - Netbanx, Datacash, etc
As I understand it you don't need to be PCI compliant to take direct debits online, which means you just need to have a secure form on your site which then sends the info to the payment provider (and then on to the customer's bank).
As for setting up the form itself, the payment provider will be able to advise you on this and may even have a template for you to use.

Cheers Steve, after a bit a research I'm looking at this provider and their API: http://www.idirectdebit.co.uk/how-to-start-direct-debiting.html
Looks to offer similar service as SAGEPay (Protx), PayPoint (secpay) etc with post backs, so that'll look like it will integrate ok.
